Last Day at Bremerton Farmer’s Market!

It’s officially the last market day for the Bremerton Farmer’s Market 2017 Season! We were so happy to join this market and can’t wait to come back next year.

Come down today and celebrate a great market season, stock up on farm fresh produce, have a hot bite to eat and say farewell to your favorite vendors (until May 2018 that is)!

Check out the Fresh Bucks matching program. For every $5 in EBT a SNAP customer takes out at market they will receive $2 extra in Fresh Bucks to purchase even more fresh fruits & veggies.

We hope to see you today at Market!

Prost! It’s the Island Oktoberfest!

Skül Haus is joining the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce for a fabulous day of tapping kegs in honor of Oktoberfest!

This fun-filled event will be hosted at 7689 NE Day Road West (Day Road Industrial) on Saturday, September 23, 2017. The festival opens at 3:00 PM with the ceremonial “tapping of the keg” by Bainbridge Island mayor Val Tollefson. Our 4,000+ square foot beer garden will be open for a full six hours, featuring local beer coordinated by Bainbridge Brewing, and traditional German plates served by your very own Chamber staff. Get your Oompah! on with the Hometown Band and show your wild side with the Austrian Amazon, Manuela Horn!

Oktoberfest is the world’s largest Volksfest (beer festival and traveling funfair). Held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, it is a 16-day folk festival running from mid September to the first weekend in October. What began in 1810 as a celebration to honor the marriage of Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen has now evolved to include delicious food and fun activities, making it the largest beer drinking festival in the world.
